WOMEN (IM)PRINT

“Women (Im)Print” showcases hand-printed works by two women who are friends and collaborators: Katie Browne (curator) Bailey Haines. The title is a play on words: printmaking is the mode in which we creatively express ourselves, while the imprints that the people and places in our lives leave on us and that we leave on them provide the basis of our inspiration.
Printmaking is a diverse field and we each specialize in different techniques. However, our works collectively feature bright colors, bold shapes, and are inspired by nature, community, and how we relate to it all.

Learn to bundle dye on fabric using locally grown flowers. Students will create two beautiful plant-dyed textiles to keep or give as gifts! All materials provided, snacks and bevs will be offered. Hosted by Botany Houseplant Shop, students receive a 20% discount on store items during the event.
